It did and then my little girl was playing with it once and everything changed. I managed to sort out the Javascript- but not sure what to do so I can watch youtube etc.

I am assuming that she messed around with it- but of course not sure.

hah..btw i finally got flashplayer running (so youtube now works) but theres no volume..im guessing it has to do w/ javascript is why i asked?^

This was fine like a day ago. But now- whenever I try to
watch a video or listen to a song or anything like that on the internet it says:

Hello- you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe s Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I HAVE the latest Flash player. Soooo how do you turn JavaScript on??

umm- okay so i used
"sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree" in Konsole on Kubuntu 8.04 [Ubuntu]
"flashplugin-nonfree is already the newest version.
0 upgraded- 0 newly installed- 0 to remove and 77 not upgraded."

So- im pretty sure i have flashplayer? maybe? Anyway- what can i do to fix Javascript? if not just be able to make youtube work on Kubuntu 8.4?

Which of the following or other is best for creating online games and interactive sites? Java- Flash- or Javascript/php/MySql/xhtml or others? I have a very limited experience of progamming in C and Visual Basic etc- but I want to program online applications. What is the most concise- powerful and easy to maintain?
