I ve created a website that displays my works in graphic design- illustration- and fine art in Microsoft FrontPage 2002 and I m trying to create popup windows by clicking on image maps in order to view the pages on Firefox or any other browser. Is there a code for that?

Alright- let me start out by explaining what my site is about- so you can get an idea. I am going to create an online "store" where people can upload their digital files they made and either make them free to download or let them make a price.

From this I have a few questions:
1. Would I need to learn javascript or can I keep on with PHP- or would I need another language?
2. How would I prevent people from simply passing around the download link?
3. I know I will need to write a Terms of Agreement- anyone know a good place thats shows how it is structured?
4. Color themes...I can t think of what colors I should go for. Blue + Silver + Black- or maybe a more bright combination Orange + Blue + ?

I know a bit of HTML- CSS- and JavaScript. However- I am trying to code a page that will be cross-platform and cross-browser friendly (i.e. the content will show up identically- which is a huge problem with Internet Explorer s non-compliance).

Additionally- my school has JavaScript blocked- so any web resources that use JavaScript are out of the question. =(

I need something that is powerful and can allow me to absolutely position as many elements as I want- define depth levels- allow me to specify areas (i.e. DIV tags) with dynamically-defined heights and widths- etc.

Can anyone give me suggestions on (a) the language- (b) what resources I would need to work with it (i.e. compilers- programs- etc.)

NOTE: I loathe "wizards." Dreamweaver = the devil.
Does PHP require something like Apache? And if so- can one "bounce" one s scrips off one s own computer- or does it require a dedicated computer?

Ok-so when i go into my myspace page-i can t hear my profile song because apparently i either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia s Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player. That s what my profile says.So i click the here part & it asks me if i can agree & intsall now so i click that & it tells me to click the gold bar below my address bar-BUT NOTHING POPS UP!i need help!!am i doing something wrong??or wat?!help me!

Every few weeks for some reason my computer tells me I need to install the latest flash player- which is rubbish as I already have it. The other option it says is to turn on javascript. What step by step process allows me to turn the poxy thing back on?
I usually do a system restore then it comes back- there must be an easier way?

When you hit a (BUTTON)- a "quiz" prompt will show up on the screen.
The prompt will ask [What is the weight of (ITEM)?]

When answered- it will tell you if the answer is right or wrong.
If the user doesn t answer (or hits CANCEL)- quiz skips to next (ITEM).

If the answer is RIGHT = proceeds to next (ITEM).
If the answer is WRONG = skips to the next (ITEM).

If an (ITEM) gets skipped- after all have been answered- all skipped will
get looped until they have all been answered correctly.

After all questions are answered correctly- page is redirected to another URL
