I want to create a table or form in dreamweaver where people enter 2 different pieces of information (both being numbers) lets call them A and B then I want 8 different calculations that pertain to A and B. There are 2 different pieces of information C is the # that is calculated in the parenthesis and D is the final # in the equation which is a dollar amount.

calculation 1 is: (A)x .20 = D
calculation 2 is: (AxB)x .20 = D
calculation 3 is: (AxBxB)x .20= D
calculation 4 is: (AxBxBxB)x .20= D
calculation 5 is: (AxBxBxBxB)x .10= D
calculation 6 is: (AxBxBxBxBxB)x.10= D
calculation 7 is: (AxBxBxBxBxBxB)x .10= D

for calculation 8 I just need one number which is a collective of all of the D s in the prior 7 calculations.

I understand that this is confusing (that s why I can t figure it out) but if there is anyone that can help me it would be so much appreciated. Even if you can t give me the code I just need some sort of direction as to where to start.

#s want to be rounded up or down

Hello- you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia s Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player.

When I go to the site that it wants me to go to- I click on install. Then it never installs it. it just sits on that page.

In java- the result of 0.29*100 is 28.99999999999999996
This occurs even if code is written using BigDecimal (s)

the result of 0.29*10*10 is 29.0- but 0.29*(10*10) is 28.99...

The same behavior can be seen in javascript- so it is not just a java thing

any ideas- what the heck? but 0.29f*100 works fine

what is the numeric theory?
Thing is- this works fine in vb and in vbscript. Maybe only certain runtimes will have this problem.

Hey everyone... Everytime I go to metacafe.com and want to view a video- it says that javascript has it be enabled to view it... the confusing thing is that my javascript is enabled... My browser is explorer and I went to internet options in my tools and activated it.. but I still cant view vids... whats the problem?????

Thanks in advance....

When I try to watch a video- this message comes up:
