I want to create an opt-in form like many I ve seen on the web where default text is found in the text field (like "your name" or "your email"). I ve read a tiny bit about jTextField but I need a tutorial. I am comfortable with XHTML and CSS but still fairly new to javascript. I think jTextField is the way to go- but I m still not sure. Please advise. Thanks- Todd

I can t watch videos. When I go to youtube or anywhere else that shows videos I get this message: Hello- you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe s Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player. I download it and it says complete- but I still doesn t work. How can I fix this?

Hi

I have found an anti-spam email code:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
// protected email script by Joe Maller
// JavaScripts available at http://www.joemaller.com
// this script is free to use and distribute
// but please credit me and/or link to my site

emailE=( me@ + whatever.com )
document.write( <A href="mailto: + emailE + "> + emailE + </a> );

//-->
</script>

<noscript>
<em>Email address protected by JavaScript.<BR>
Please enable JavaScript to contact Bill.</em>
</noscript>

The only problem is that I want document.write to write "Bill" rather than "me@whatever.com" onto the web page- but for it to still function as a anti-spam email link code.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

I am unable to load mail javascript files in
Yahoo Beta but the computer will allow me to do it in Yahoo Classic. Had been able to use Yahoo Beta for a long time and then deleted a virus from computer and found this problem. Have reloaded Java multiple times
to no avail. Problem persists with or without anit-virus software. The following is what I keep getting:
Yahoo login Error
Name: Type Error
Message: Object expected
Number:-2146823281
Description: Object expected

Then i get another window that tells me
"unable to load mail javascript files"

As preiously stated- I have uninstalled and installed Java multiple times to no avail. Please assist... thank you.

Hello I am 16 and I have been thinking for awhile to start my own web develoment company. But I don t know where to start. I am in the 10th grade going to 11th and I have been doing HTML/CSS/Graphic Design since 5th grade so about 5-6 years so I know how to design.

I have also been creating Dynamic pages using Javascript- Ajax- and PHP/MySQL for about 4 years now. So I know how to code and script. I want to start my own comany but I need to know if there are taxes and those types of things.

If anyone has any suggestions or anything then please share them with me. Thanks!!!
