I have a good working knowledge of both HTML and CSS but I m now working on a website that requires some Javascript.

Specifically what I need to do is have a button that makes a pop-up window appear which has a form to fill out. In this case- to send an email.
So it would have the company logo at the top- with several text inputs like "Name" and "Address" and such like- and a submit button to send all the info to an email address.

Thanks

what is the code that would go for something like replacing a css file if a user is using firefox and so on-

i ve been searching- but couldn t find something i could use

Hello- you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe s Flash Player

is what i see alot.
i think my javascript is on...i use maxthon for my internet.

And adobe flash player...i try to download it at the website...but when i click agree and install now it goes to the page......but when it goes to the other page. it said this

When you see the installation completion movie above and text below- your installation was successful. The installation should only take a minute or two on a 56k modem.

the problem is all i see is a little sheet with a red x on the top left of the box the video is supposed to appear on.

And i saw people talk about to install it as an administrator....how do i do that too??
somthing is wrong with link.

You know how if you mouse over a button or something on any given web browser- a tiny text message pops up and tells you what that button does? I know there s a way to code for it with html/css- but I don t know what it s called or where to look. I want a little message to show when someone mouses over an image on my MySpace profile. I don t want some complicated javascript popup- just a simple little text box.

Does anybody know what I m talking about?

Write a JavaScript program that prompts the user for a number and prompt user to input that number of names. Those names should be collected into an array and after array is filled the sorted list should be printed on the page. Include this in your web site.

Ok. Can someone explain to me what Java is used for- and how i can learn it? Thanks.
